Present status and future development of the special library network for the metallurgical and machine industry

Abstract

Based upon statistical data for the years 1974 and 1978 and the ruling trends observed since then, the article analyzes the present status of the special libraries in the field of metallurgy and machine industry and outlines the areas for their development in R&D institutes and large companies.
