Activities of the library network for the light industry in 1979 and 1980

Abstract

AH investigation of the library network for the light industry carried out in 1977 revealed several deficiencies in the system. In 1978 the Research Institute for the Textile Industry was appointed as the central base of the network. Since then, together with live information sub-centres, it has been organizing the information supply for the light industry. The results of two years' efforts as well as the tasks forseen up to 1985, concerning mainly systems organization and operation, are given.
