-Abstract
In the 1960s and early 1970s the special libraries in Hungary were making intensive efforts in coordinating their acquisiton policies in order to acquire as much as possible from the world's scientific and technical literature necessary for research and development in this country. These activities were organized by Cooperation Committees on special literature. The best results were recorded by the Committees on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In the field of technology, however, only the intents for cooperation were declared.
