Abstract

The three-part study summarizes the findings of an in-house ad hoc committee set up to explore the manpower reserves at the Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre. The first part published in this issue explains the necessity of the study and identifies the sources of manpower reserves as well as the advantages of a performance-oriented organization.
