Modification of the structure and main tasks of the Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre

Abstract

This project has been introduced to the staff of the Hungarian Central Technical Library andi Documentation Centre on 24 January 1980 in a meeting convened to summarize the reasons, aims and implications of the reorganization of the Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre. The reorganization is bound partly to the establishment of the information system for R & D management and partly to the updating of technical information and library activities. It aims at providing Hungarian specialists with high-level information. In order to achieve these goals, an organizational reconstruction is in process. The new administration also decided to modernize and democratize management.
