Reorganization ofthe Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre and its new tasks

Abstract

Two extensive projects serve the modifícation of the information provision of R & D activities in Hungary. The first one aims at establishing an information system for R & D management, while the other promotes the further development of the national scientific and technical information system. The Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre has a central role in the realization of both projects. With effect from 1 January 1980 the structure of the institution has been modified according to the expectations ofthe above projects. Table 1 indicates the void structure, while Table 2 shows the reorganized Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre.
