Bibliographic description of microfiches

Abstract

Preceding the publication of a methodological guide, the article intends to provide help for the bibliographic deseription of primary and secondary microfiches. Though the standards referred will become effective only in 1982 and so far no common opinion has been achieved in the respect of their application, a continuous feedback of library experiences may provide a basis for the introduction of a common practice.
