Abstract

Péter Lázár, former editor-in-chief of Tudományos és Műszaki Tájékoztatás, had been director general of OMKDK (Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre) for 16 years. After having retired in December 1979, this is the first time he talks about his career, his areas of interest, his experiences in librarianship as well as in scientific and technical information and documentation.
