Abstract

The report describes an input process management model for branch information systems and centres. The objectives of the model are: to introduce economically feasible and effective operations of computerized bibliographic databases, to reduce processing time delay and to improve service quality. The model is based on conventional information processing on the one hand and cooperation between information centres on the other.
