The program of building up a National Library and Information Network in the United States

Abstract

Volume 4. Number 3. 1975 of Information - Reports and Bibliographies deals in details with the National Program for Library and Information Services in the United States. On the basis of this document the author provides a survey of the present situation and the problems of libraries and information services in the United States and deseribes the most important suggestions of the National Program. Two comprehensive tables offer a survey of the organizational structure and the division of responsibilities.
