Abstract

Reasons of advance and decline regarding research on machine translation are analysed. From the viewpoint of linguistics possibilities of acceptable machine translations are denied. In spite of possible unexpected successful operations the translation machine is qualified uneconomical. Instead of training of missing machine operators, programming mathematicians, logists, theoretical linguists and terminology experts the organized training and utilization of new translators seem to be more practical concerning the qualitative and quantitative development of translations.
