The status of scientific and technical information in Bulgaria

Abstract

A team representing the Hungarian Central Technical Library and Documentation Centre studied the Bulgarian national system of scientific and technical information during its stay in that country. The study included the acquaintance with the Central Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CINTI), its tasks, organization and prospective development. Experiences gained during this time are considered as highly valuable from the point of developing the co-operation between the respective documentary and information agencies of Hungary and Bulgaria ae well as their activities.
