Libraries and communities, or the theory and practical implementation of community-driven libraies

Abstract

The study discusses the relationship and co-operation between public libraries of the 21st century and the communities for which they provide services. It introduces the model of the community-driven library and the opportunities for the community-driven development of space and services.
